These methods has its characteristic each, can to a certain extent, reflect the characteristics of the fault, but there are limitations. If the vibration signal has the advantages of rich information, sensors, convenient installation, but the signal main energy is concentrated in the 1500 hz low frequency area, and the disturbance signal frequency is more for low frequency, so that the signal separation is difficult. Acoustic emission signal is compared with the ordinary vibration signal, with a wide range of frequencies, a greater amount of information, fault diagnosis by using high frequency signal, can effectively eliminate the other low frequency jamming signal, so the high signal-to-noise ratio. In addition sensor installation more convenient, also can be the operation state of the equipment condition monitoring.
