And chrome steel is one of the most common bearing materials.
It is more hard than stainless steel, so it can last longer.
But, under high temperature, its performance is poor.
Under the high temperature of 120 ℃, great deformation and load bearing experience.
It can accept the high temperature of 150 ℃, but suddenly a temperature of 150 ℃ or higher will reduce the use of the bearing life.
Heat treatment can make the bearing the high temperature of 170 ℃.
The most common type of stainless steel 440 is used for bearing, it hard enough, strong load ability (
20% lower than brass steel)
, but it can rust, can accept 250 ℃ for high temperature and continuous high temperature of 300 ℃.
We often mistakenly think that all are magnetic stainless steel.
440 stainless steel is magnetic.
It is not a complete rust, but the salt, the effect of acid and alkali.
316 good rust resistance grade, nonmagnetic, but more soft, and therefore less load.
Because it is not consolidated, 316 bearing is not accurate and feel rough.
