20 bearing aperture is journal older, resting, journal is located in the lower bearing, come into direct contact with the bearing inner surface formed wedge gap between bearing and the journal.
With the rotation of the shaft neck, lubricating oil due to the viscosity and adhesion on the surface of shaft, was brought into the wedge clearance between shaft and bush.
With the increase of rotational speed, is to increase the amount of oil, due to the export of oil flow in the area of wedge gap decreases continuously, so the oil pressure rising, while the pressure enough to balance the rotor to the full force of bearing, shaft neck by the oil film is suspended in the oil film on turning, avoiding the metal directly friction, fluid friction is established.
The influencing factors of the oil film are: (1) speed;
(2) bearing load;
(3) oil viscosity;
(4) the clearance between the bearing and shaft neck;
(5) the size of the bearing and shaft neck.
