Bearing heating installation is a common installation method, mainly used to install bearings with large interference or large-size bearings. The methods and key points of bearing heating installation are as follows:

1. Choose the appropriate heating method: Common heating methods include oil tank heating, hot plate heating, electric furnace heating, induction heating, etc. The specific choice of heating method needs to be comprehensively considered based on factors such as the size, material, and installation environment of the bearing.

2. Control heating temperature: Heating temperature is a key factor affecting the effect of bearing heating installation. Generally speaking, the heating temperature should be controlled between 80 and 100°C. The specific temperature should be determined based on factors such as the material, size, and interference of the bearing. Too high a temperature may cause the bearing to anneal, reducing its hardness and wear resistance; too low a temperature may cause insufficient expansion of the bearing, making installation difficult.

3. Control heating time: Heating time is also an important factor affecting the effect of bearing heating installation. If the heating time is too long, the bearing may expand excessively, resulting in excessive preload force after installation; if the heating time is too short, the bearing may not expand enough, making installation difficult. Therefore, the heating time needs to be reasonably controlled based on factors such as the size, material, and heating temperature of the bearing.

4. The installation operation must be skillful, rapid and accurate: after the bearing is heated, it needs to be installed on the shaft quickly. During the installation process, keep the shaft and bearings clean to prevent impurities from entering the bearings. At the same time, ensure the accuracy of the installation position to avoid problems such as deflection or looseness of the bearing after installation.

5. Post-installation inspection: After installation is completed, the bearing needs to be inspected to ensure that it is installed correctly and fastened reliably. It can be checked by rotating the bearing, observing whether it is running smoothly, and listening for abnormal noise.

Bearing heating installation requires certain skills and experience. Only with the appropriate heating method, temperature, time and installation operation can the installation quality and service life of the bearing be ensured.
