The cylindrical rollers and raceways are line contact bearings. Load capacity, mainly bear radial load. The friction between the rolling element and the ring rib is small, making it suitable for high-speed rotation. Depending on whether the ring has ribs, it can be divided into single-row cylindrical roller bearings such as NU, NJ, NUP, N, and NF, and double-row cylindrical roller bearings such as NNU and NN. This bearing has a separable inner ring and outer ring.
Cylindrical roller bearings with no ribs in the inner ring or outer ring. The inner ring and outer ring can move relative to each other in the axial direction, so they can be used as free-end bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings with double ribs on one side of the inner ring and outer ring and a single rib on the other side of the ring can withstand a certain degree of axial load in one direction. Generally, steel plate stamping cages or copper alloy machined solid cages are used. However, some use polyamide molded cages.
Single row cylindrical roller bearings are usually only subject to radial force. Compared with ball bearings of the same size, the radial load-bearing capacity is increased by 1.5-3 times. They have good rigidity and impact resistance. They are especially suitable for rigid supports and short shafts. Axial displacement caused by thermal elongation and machine accessories requiring separable bearings for installation and disassembly. Mainly used in large motors, machine tool spindles, engine front and rear support shafts, train passenger car box shaft supports, diesel engine crankshafts, automobile tractor gearboxes, etc.
Single row cylindrical roller bearings include outer rings, inner ring locking rings and cages. There is an annular stress groove in the middle of the outer wall surface of the outer ring, and there are multiple annular locking grooves on the outer wall of the outer ring. The shape and size of the locking ring are adapted to the shape and size of the annular locking grooves. A locking ring is installed in the annular locking groove. An annular cage guide groove is provided on the annular surface of the inner wall of the outer ring corresponding to the stress groove. The utility model has the advantages of convenient assembly, large bearing load, high limit speed, strong reliability and long service life.
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are often combined into high-stiffness bearing arrangements that can handle heavy and vibration loads without difficulty. Such bearings can bear large axial loads in one direction, but cannot bear radial loads, and they do not have self-aligning capabilities.
