50Mn is mostly used for slewing rings/turntable bearing rings, but sometimes 42CrMo is used to meet the needs of hosts in special applications. The rolling elements generally use GCr15SiMn.
The type of retainer has different structural types such as integral type, segmented type, and isolation block type. Integral or segmented cages are made of 20# steel or ZL102 cast aluminum alloy.
The isolation block type retainer is made of polyamide 1010 resin, ZL102 cast aluminum alloy or QA110-3-1.5 aluminum bronze.

Structural forms of slewing bearings are commonly used single-row, double-row four-point contact ball slewing bearings, double-row angular contact thrust ball slewing bearings, crossed cylindrical roller and crossed tapered roller slewing bearings, three-row cylindrical roller slewing bearings, ball Column hybrid slewing bearings and other different structural forms. 1. Materials for rings and rolling elements
Generally, the rolling elements of slewing bearings are made of overall hardened carbon chromium bearing steel. The grade is made of GCr15 or GCr15SiMn steel; the slewing bearing ring is made of surface hardened steel. When the user has no special requirements, it is generally made of 50Mn steel. For specific conditions of use, use other grades of surface hardened steel, such as 42CrMo, 5CrMnMo, etc.
2. Cage material
Cages for slewing bearings have structural forms such as integral type, segmented type, and isolation block type. Among them, the integral and segmented cages are made of No. 20 steel or ZL102 cast aluminum alloy. The isolation block is made of polyamide 1010 resin, ZL102 cast aluminum alloy, etc.
3. Materials for sealing ring
The material for the sealing ring of the slewing bearing is made of oil-resistant rubber or NBR.
