Tapered roller bearing
NSK Taper Roller Bearings support high radial loads and axial loads in a single direction and are available in two and four row versions which are capable of taking axial loads in either direction. Tapers can be supplied with high strength cages (optimized designs) and in a range of advanced special materials for more arduous applications.

PRODUCT FEATURES
The tapered roller bearing can be separated, and the assembly consisting of the inner ring and the roller and the cage and the outer ring can be respectively mounted on the tapered roller bearing. Corrected contact lines at the roller and raceway contacts reduce stress concentrations. Tapered roller bearings can withstand large radial and axial loads. Since tapered roller bearings can only transmit one-way axial loads, another tapered roller bearing that is symmetrically mounted is required to transmit the axial load in the opposite direction. A raceway with a slanted angle allows the tapered roller bearing to withstand combined radial and axial loads. The greater the angle between the outer raceway and the bearing centerline, the greater the ability to withstand axial and radial load ratios. The linear contact of the roller with the raceway gives the tapered roller bearing a large load carrying capacity. This feature and the ability to withstand radial loads, axial loads and combined loads make tapered roller bearings ideal for many applications. For a given inner diameter, a particularly lightweight cross section can be used to meet different load requirements.
