2020-04-23

Some commonly used terms and definitions of rolling bearings mainly include general theory of rolling bearings, centripetal bearings, thrust bearings, ball bearings, roller bearings, etc.

(I) general introduction to rolling bearing:

1. Rolling bearing: the bearing that rolls between the supporting load and the parts moving relative to each other, including the parts with raceway and the rolling body group with or without isolation or guide parts, can be used to bear radial, axial or radial and axial combined loads;

2. Single row bearing: a rolling bearing with a row of rolling bodies;

3. Double-row bearing: a rolling bearing with two rows of rolling bodies;

4. Multi-row bearing: the rolling bearing with more than two columns and bearing bearing the same load direction, it is better to indicate the number of columns and bearing type, for example: "four-row radial cylindrical roller bearing";

5. Full roller bearing: for bearings without cage, the total clearance between the circumference of each row of roller is smaller than the diameter of the roller and as small as possible, so that the bearing has good performance;

6. Angular contact bearing: rolling bearing with nominal contact Angle greater than 0° but less than 90°;

7. Centering bearing: one raceway is spherical, which can adapt to the angular deviation and angular movement between two raceway axis lines;

8. Separable bearing: rolling bearing with separable parts;

9. Non-separable bearing: rolling bearing whose bearing rings cannot be separated freely after final assembly;

Note: for bearings with different methods of separating parts, such as ball bearings with double half ring (02, 01, 08), there is no other abbreviation.

10. English bearing: rolling bearing whose external dimensions and tolerances were expressed in English units in the original design;

11. Open bearing: rolling bearing without dust cover and sealing ring;

12. Sealing ring bearing: rolling bearing with sealing rings on one or both sides;

13. Dustproof cover bearing:

Rolling bearings with dust cover on one or both sides.

14. Closed bearing: rolling bearing with one or two sealing rings, one or two dustproof covers, one sealing ring and one dustproof cover;

15. To lubricate the bearing: the rolling bearing that the manufacturer has filled with lubricant;

16. Instrument precision bearing: rolling bearing specially used for instrument;

17. Assembled bearing: a pair or group of rolling bearings.

(2) centripetal bearing:

1. Centripetal bearing: mainly used for bearing bearing radial load, its nominal contact Angle is between 0° and 45°, the basic parts are inner ring, outer ring and rolling body with or without cage;

2. Radial contact bearing: radial rolling bearing with nominal contact Angle of 0°;

3. Angular contact radial bearing: radial rolling bearing with nominal contact Angle greater than 0° to 45°;

4. Outer spherical bearing: radial rolling bearing with outer spherical surface and wide inner ring with locking member, mainly used for simple shell;

5. Cone hole bearing: radial rolling bearing with cone hole in the inner ring.

6. Flange bearing: on one of its rings, it is generally a radial rolling bearing with an outer diameter flange on the outer ring or tapered outer ring.

7. Roller (rolling) bearing: a centripetal rolling bearing with a thick outer ring that ACTS as a wheel to roll on a guide rail, such as a CAM guide rail.

8. Ring type roller (rolling) bearing: a pair of flat ring roller rolling bearing.

9. Universal combination bearings: when one or more sets of the same centripetal rolling bearings are arbitrarily selected to be used together, the specified characteristics can be obtained before being installed in pairs or in groups.

(3) thrust bearing:

1. Thrust bearing: mainly used for bearing bearing bearing bearing axial load, its nominal contact Angle is greater than 45° to 90 °, the basic parts are shaft ring, seat ring and rolling body with or without cage;

2. Axial contact bearing: thrust bearing with nominal contact Angle of 90°;

3. Angular contact thrust bearing: thrust rolling bearing with nominal contact Angle greater than 45° but less than 90°;

4. One-way thrust bearing: the thrust rolling bearing can only bear axial load in one direction;

5. Two-way thrust bearing: the thrust rolling bearing that can bear axial load in two directions;

6. Double-row two-way thrust bearing: two-way thrust rolling bearing with two rows of rolling bodies, each row only bears axial load in one direction;

7. Linear (moving) bearing: a rolling bearing with two raceway moving in a relatively linear direction.

(4) ball bearing:

1. Ball bearing: the rolling body is the rolling bearing of the ball;

2. Centripetal ball bearing: the rolling body is the centripetal ball bearing;

3. Deep groove ball bearing: each ring has a radial ball bearing with a continuous groove raceway whose cross section is about one third of the circumference of the ball;

4. Grooved ball bearings: grooved ball bearings shall be grooved on a guard edge of each ring in order to load more balls;

5. Locking ball bearing: a groove ball bearing with all or part of the rim of the outer ring removed;

6. Three-point contact ball bearing: when the single-row angular contact ball bearing is under pure radial load, each ball under load has two points of contact with one channel and one point of contact with another channel.

7. Four-point contact ball bearing: single-row angular contact ball bearing. When under pure radial load, each ball under load has two points of contact with the two channels respectively, while under pure axial load, each ball has only one point of contact;

8. Thrust ball bearing: the rolling body is the thrust ball rolling bearing;

9. Single row two-way thrust ball bearing: four-point contact ball bearing with contact Angle greater than 45°;

10. Double row one-way thrust ball bearing: a one-way thrust ball bearing with concentric raceway of double volleyball and bearing load in the same direction.

(v) roller bearing:

1. Roller bearing: the rolling body is the rolling bearing of the roller;

2. Radial roller bearing: the rolling body is the radial roller bearing;

3. Cylindrical roller bearing: the rolling body is the centripetal rolling bearing of cylindrical roller;

4. Tapered roller bearing: the rolling body is the centripetal rolling bearing of tapered roller;

5. Needle rolling bearing: the rolling body is the centripetal rolling bearing of the needle rolling;

6. Punching needle roller bearing of outer ring: punching (stretching) needle roller bearing of outer ring with thin steel plate, which is closed at one end or open at both ends, and is often used without inner ring;

7.(convex) spherical roller bearing: the rolling body is the radial rolling bearing of convex spherical roller;

8. Concave roller bearing: the rolling body is the centripetal rolling bearing of concave roller;

9. Spherical roller bearing: the rolling body is the centering and centripetal rolling bearing with convex or concave roller, the bearing with convex spherical roller, the outer ring has a spherical raceway, the bearing with concave roller, the inner ring has a spherical raceway;

10. Cross roller bearing: there is a row of roller angular contact rolling bearing, adjacent rollers cross into a cross configuration, so that half of the roller (each number of the second roller) to bear one direction of the axial load, and the opposite direction of the axial load by the other half of the roller;

11. Thrust roller bearing: the roller body is the thrust rolling bearing of the roller;

12. Thrust cylindrical roller bearing: the rolling body is the thrust rolling bearing of cylindrical roller;

13. Thrust cone roller bearing: the roller body is the thrust roller bearing of the cone roller;
