When thrust bearings are damaged, a ship can lose power and operational safety can be jeopardized. Simplex High-load thrust bearings (HL) are single-collar bearings designed to withstand the thrust loads produced by a ship's propeller. The shape of the HL tilting pads offers improved oil flow, more effective cooling, lower friction, greater efficiency and an increased service life.

 

Depending on your requirements, WXING Marine can configure the Simplex HL thrust bearings in combination with a radial bearing or, above size 500, as pure thrust bearings. Simplex HL thrust bearings can also be used in other applications, such as turbines, air blowers, cutter suction dredgers and centrifugal pumps.
