Introduction to stainless steel bearing burns

by:Waxing     2020-11-19
Stainless steel bearing burn refers to stainless steel bearing parts in use process under the influence of abnormal high temperature, cooling, without timely and make the parts surface organization produces high temperature tempering or secondary hardening phenomenon. Common cause of the stainless steel bearing burns are: 1, the poor lubrication of bearings. May be using the irregular lubricant, or lubricant too much, too little; 2, bearing the load is too large and uneven load distribution, formation stress concentration; 3, both inside and outside circle operation temperature difference is big, improper selection and clearance, outer ring expansion in the small circle big show interference lead to bearing temperature rise sharply; 4, operation temperature, bearing work causes large axial force, thermal expansion of the shaft and bearing can't axial movement; 5, rough machining parts surface, resulting in poor contact or oil film forming difficulties. Stainless steel bearing burns can be judged according to the different color of surface. Bearing in use due to reasons such as lubricant, temperature, corrosion, if parts surface light yellow, yellow, red brown, belong to change color; If appear purple blue or bluish black is burned. Bearing burn easily cause the loss of parts surface hardness or a tiny grain.
