1. Positioning of bearing inner ring
When the inner ring of the bearing is mounted on the shaft, the bearing position is usually fixed on one side of the shaft shoulder, while the other side is fixed with a nut, stop washer or spring ring.
The dimensions of the shoulder and the contact part of the axial fixed parts with the bearing inner ring can be determined according to the installation dimensions of various bearings listed in the bearing dimensions table.
Nut positioning
When the bearing rotates at a high speed and bears a large axial load, the end face of the nut in contact with the bearing inner ring should be perpendicular to the rotating center line of the shaft.
Otherwise, even if the nut is tightened, the installation position of the bearing and the normal working state of the bearing will be damaged, and the rotation accuracy and service life of the bearing will be reduced.
Especially when the fit between the inner hole of the bearing and the shaft is loose, it needs to be strictly controlled.
In order to prevent nuts from becoming loose during rotation, technical measures must be taken to prevent loosening.
Using a nut and a limit washer to position, place the inner key tooth of the limit washer into the keyway of the shaft, and then bend one tooth on the outer ring into the concave of the nut.
2. Positioning of the spring retainer
In the case that the bearing bears a small axial load, the speed is not high, the shaft is short and it is difficult to process threads on the journal, the elastic fixing ring with a rectangular section can be used for positioning.
This method is easy to load and unload, occupies little space and is easy to manufacture.
3, thrust gasket positioning
When the journal is short, it is difficult to process threads on the journal, the bearing speed is high, the axial load is large, the washer can be used for positioning, that is, the washer can be used for more than two positioning screws on the shaft end face.
Tighten the washer or wire to prevent it from coming loose.
4, fixed sleeve positioning
Bearing speed is not high, and spherical with the help of conical set sleeve, can be installed on the optical shaft bearing smooth radial load and small axial load roller bearings.
The position of the locking sleeve is provided with a nut and a stop washer.
Use the friction of the nut to tighten the setting sleeve to position the bearing.
5. Bearing positioning with conical inner hole
Bearing with taper on the inner hole of the bearing is installed on the taper shaft, and the shaft and bearing should be tightened to resist axial load.Therefore, attention should be paid to the direction of the inner hole taper during installation.
If the bearing is located at the end of the shaft and is allowed to be threaded at the end of the shaft, it can be positioned directly with the nut.
If the bearing is not mounted on the shaft end and it is not allowed to thread the shaft.
In this case, the two halves of the combined threaded ring can be clamped into the grooves of the shaft, and the bearings can then be positioned using nuts.
6. Special positioning
In special cases where the shoulder and fillet dimensions of the shaft cannot be determined from the mounting dimensions listed in this directory, transition gaskets may be used as axial supports.

10, elastic retaining ring positioning
This positioning method occupies a small space in axial position, convenient installation and disassembly, simple manufacturing, suitable for bearing small axial load place.An adjustment ring is added between the bearing and the spring to facilitate the adjustment of the axial position.
