In the production of new dry process cement, the grate cooler is one of the key equipment. Different types of clinker crushers are used in different production lines, such as hammer crushers, roll crushers, etc. This paper mainly summarizes the problems and solutions in the production process of hammer crushers.

In production, the main problem of the hammer crusher is that the casing and the rotor sealing device are easily damaged, resulting in more material leakage, heating of the bearing, and large vibration of the hammer crusher body.

(1) The seal between the hammer crusher shell and the rotor is vulnerable

The seal between the crusher shell and the rotor adopts the gland packing sealing device, and the packing uses graphite packing, which is easy to wear.

There are two reasons: one is that the fine clinker particles enter the seal, causing the graphite packing to wear and lose its sealing; the other is that the number of turns of the graphite packing is too small, the resilience is poor, and the oil storage capacity is small. If the lubrication is poor or the graphite packing is pressed too tightly, the oil film will be interrupted, resulting in dry friction between the graphite packing and the rotor, resulting in damage to the graphite packing and loss of sealing.

Solution: During the maintenance period, the original gland packing sealing device is transformed into an axial labyrinth sealing device to strengthen the sealing effect, improve the service life of the sealing device, and completely solve the problem of material leakage in the crusher shell.

(2) Hammer crusher rotor vibration

The hammer head is broken due to poor casting quality; the design of the hammer shaft is unreasonable, which causes the hammer shaft to break easily, resulting in the hammer head falling off; These factors cause rotor vibration, which has a great influence on maintaining the rotor balance of the hammer crusher.

Solution: Transform the hammer shaft of the crusher, no longer drill holes in the middle of the hammer shaft, change it to an optical shaft, and add baffles at both ends of the hammer shaft. In order to further slow down the impact load of the axial movement of the baffles at both ends of the hammer shaft and prevent the axial movement of the hammer shaft, the iron stopper welded on the hammer plate can prevent the hammer head from falling off due to the displacement of the hammer shaft. .
