The Mounting Method of Housings

The correct installation order is: first install the housing, then the shaft and the bearing.In principle, the bearing units can be easily installed at any place. However, in order to have a long service life,the mounting base should be flat and rigid.

For pillow block type and flange type housings, the parallelism tolerance between pillow block housing' mounting base to the shaft and the squareness tolerance between flange housing'mounting base to the shaft should both keep within ±2°. Same as the below picture:
