Deep groove ball bearing materials

Deep groove ball bearing is a widely used rolling bearing, which is characterized by low friction resistance, high rotation speed, and can withstand radial load or combined load acting simultaneously in radial and axial directions. The materials of deep groove ball bearings include but are not limited to carbon steel, bearing steel, stainless steel, plastic, ceramics, etc. Among them, bearing rings and steel balls are usually made of GCR15 (AISI 52100) refined bearing steel, and the retainer is stamped from 08F high-quality cold-rolled steel strip.

Materials for deep groove ball bearings also include high-carbon chromium steel, a heat-treated material that has excellent strength and wear resistance and is suitable for high load and high-speed conditions. Stainless steel materials have excellent corrosion resistance and are often used in humid or chemically corrosive environments. Ceramic materials such as alumina ceramics and silicon oxynitride ceramics have the characteristics of high strength, high hardness, and low friction coefficient, and are suitable for high-speed, high-temperature, and high-precision application scenarios.

In addition, there are miniature deep groove ball bearings, which are made of equally diverse materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, ceramics, etc. Among them, various types of bearings with an outer diameter of less than 9.525mm in the inch series are also widely used.

On the assembly drawing, the materials of deep groove ball bearings are usually clearly marked, including but not limited to material type, hardness grade, accuracy grade, etc., to ensure their suitability and performance in specific applications.
